An immigration file runs for months or years, and so does the software supporting it. Annual billing keeps budgeting predictable, removes twelve invoices a year of administrative overhead, and lets us include continuous updates and platform upgrades for the whole term. The 90-day trial runs before any charge, so the annual decision is made after you have used the platform.

Software cost is fixed; AI cost is variable and depends entirely on how much you use. Bundling the two forces everyone to pay for an average. Keeping them separate means the subscription price stays stable and you pay for AI only when you actually run an AI operation — with no markup buried in the plan price.

No. Every AI capability is available in every plan. AI usage is billed independently through the prepaid AI Wallet — no bundled credits, no AI quotas, no subscription markup.

Each AI operation shows an estimated cost before it runs, calculated from the selected provider's published token pricing and the size of the input. Actual usage is then deducted from your wallet balance and itemised in your transaction history.

No. Unused AI Wallet balance never expires as long as your account is active.

Yes. You can recharge manually at any time through Stripe, or enable Auto Recharge so that when your balance falls below a threshold you set, a top-up is processed automatically and AI work is never interrupted mid-case.

Yes — Professional and Enterprise plans support BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) across all supported providers. With BYOK, AI usage is billed by your provider directly and does not draw from the ImmPilot AI Wallet.

The trial includes full platform access with no feature restrictions. AI usage still draws from your AI Wallet balance, so you only ever pay for the AI you actually run.

Your workspace continues on the plan you selected and billing begins at that point. If you cancel before the trial ends you are not charged, and your data remains available for export during the retention window.

Yes. You can cancel during the trial with no charge, or cancel a paid subscription so that it does not renew at the end of your annual term. Your workspace stays available for the remainder of the term you have paid for.

Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated against the remainder of your term. Downgrades take effect at renewal.

Yes. You can add users up to your plan's included seat count at any time, and upgrade to the next plan when your team grows past it. Adding a user does not require a new contract.

You do. Your client records, case files and documents remain your property. ImmPilot processes them to provide the service and does not sell them or use your client data to train models.

Yes. Structured data and documents can be exported from your workspace at any time while your subscription is active, so you are never locked in.

Invoices are issued electronically at the start of each annual term and are available for download from your workspace billing settings, together with your full payment history.

Stripe is our payment processor for subscriptions and AI Wallet recharges. Card details are entered directly with Stripe and stored under their PCI-compliant infrastructure — ImmPilot never receives or stores raw card numbers.

Applicable Canadian sales taxes are calculated at checkout based on the billing address you provide, and shown before you confirm. Tax amounts appear as separate line items on every invoice.
