Data import: cases, clients, and documents
How to bulk-import an existing practice into ImmPilot without a professional services engagement.
The bulk import tools cover the three most common migration scenarios: importing a client list, importing active cases with their current state, and importing document archives.
Client import
Upload a CSV mapped against the client template. The importer validates every row, deduplicates against existing clients, and previews the results before commit.
Case import
For active cases, upload a case CSV that references the imported clients. Case stage, program, key dates, and current status are set based on the import; historical activity is not reconstructed.
Document import
For document archives, upload a ZIP with a manifest CSV mapping each file to a client and, optionally, a case and document type. The importer processes documents in batches with progress reporting.
Rollback
Every import operation can be rolled back within 24 hours if problems are found. After 24 hours, imports are considered committed.
