AI drafting assistants
How to use the drafting assistants for submission letters, client updates, and consultations — safely.
The drafting assistants generate first drafts of client-facing and IRCC-facing writing, populated from the structured case data. Every draft is presented for human review before it is sent, signed, or filed.
Submission letters
Given a case, the assistant produces a draft submission letter following your firm's approved template, citing the specific facts on the case and referencing the current IRCC program version. The RCIC reviews, edits, and signs.
Client updates
For routine status updates and document requests, the assistant produces a personalised draft in the client's preferred language. The assigned team member reviews and sends.
Consultation summaries
For recorded consultations, the assistant produces a structured summary — advice given, next steps, follow-up items — for the file record. The RCIC reviews and finalises.
Guardrails
AI-generated content is clearly marked in the interface, is never sent to a client automatically, and is always attributable to the human who reviewed and approved it.
