Workspace settings reference
Every setting available at the workspace level, what it controls, and when to change it.
Workspace settings apply to the entire firm and can only be changed by an administrator. Changes take effect immediately for all users.
Identity
Firm name, legal name, primary contact, address, and licence number. These values feed into invoices, engagement letters, and CICC-mandated file records.
Branding
Primary colour, logo (light and dark variants), favicon, and email header image. Applied consistently across the client portal, generated PDFs, and outbound email.
Localisation
Default language for new clients, supported languages for the portal, date format, and currency. Individual clients can override language preferences at any time.
Working hours
Business hours and timezone. Used to compute SLA timers, schedule reminders during working hours only, and set 'expected response' hints on client-facing messages.
Compliance
CICC licence number, professional indemnity insurance details, and retention policy for closed files. Retention policy drives automatic archival of files older than the configured window.
