Cases
What do the case stages mean?
"What is the difference between Preparation, Review, and Submission?"
Preparation is the stage where documents are collected and forms are drafted. It is typically the longest stage.
Review is a dedicated stage for the owning RCIC to conduct a final legal review of the complete package. A case cannot enter Review until all mandatory documents are uploaded and classified.
Submission is the stage during which the package is filed with IRCC or the appropriate authority and the reference number is recorded. Once submitted, the case moves to Monitoring.
